As a Project Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope and within approved budget and profitability, by planning, implementing and tracking all necessary actions.
o Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure the correct execution of projects
o Manage relationships with customer to ensure his satisfaction
o Create a detailed project timing plan and monitor the progress
o Perform Project Risk Assesment and ensure project management to minimize project risks and escalate as required
o Prepare project budget and track it.
o Define appropriate project purchasing strategy with Purchasing Department
o Provide all necessary information to Costing and Commercial departments to support all quoting activities affecting to project and to new businesses.
You will already be an accomplished Project Manager or Programme Manager seeking a larger organisation whereby you can be responsible for significant programmes working directly with leading OEMs.
o Qualification in a relevant Engineering discipline
o Previous experience of Automotive Interior Component preferred ( consoles, consoles, doors, hard trim, soft trim, seats ) or similar high quality plastic components
o Experience of project management with any of these OEM's: Toyota, BMW, JLR or Ford.
o Work to tight deadlines, as part of a multi-disciplined team and with people located in different countries.
o Excellent organizational and people management skills combined with communication and influencing skills
o Proficient in Microsoft Office and drawing office packages
