Job Description

A growing and highly innovative food manufacturing business have created a brand new Account Manager role to help drive and support a growing network of customers- headed up from their headquarters in North West London.

About the Role:

Working closely with the Directors the Account Manager will shape and drive the direction of the business as it looks to further establish its popular product range in further retail outlets.
" In conjunction with the Commercial director you will identify and establish new business relationships with a primary focus of expanding a retailer presence in the UK Market.
" Maintain and develop current National customer accounts- looking for further opportunities to expand the product range working closely with both NPD and customer representatives to ensure realistic expectations and timeframes.
" Provide a customer facing service- driving new business and managing current accounts with a visible presence across various UK sites.
" Provide accurate and robust sales plans and forecasts based on well researched market knowledge and a strong understanding of the organisations manufacturing capabilities.

About the Person:

The suitable Account Manager will have proven experience of establishing and maintaining accounts particularly within the key UK retailer market as well as the following:

" Experience of working with a short shelf life product range would be advantageous
" Possess strong communication both internally and with external current/future customers
" Analytically aware in regards to sales figures and costing plans- strong commercial acumen
" Previous experience within an innovative NPD focused organisation
" Flexibility to travel across the UK to drive business and maintain a high level of customer service.

To be successful in this role you will already have experience working as a Account Manager, Sales Manager, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager and will see this a tremendous opportunity to establish and influence the sales and commercial direction within a growing food processing business.
