A specialist engineering business, who have recently undertaken considerable investment, and whom have recently been acquired by a renowned UK manufacturing group are seeking a Production Supervisor to take responsibility for driving performance across the shop-floor at their site in the West Midlands.

Salary: up to £25000 plus benefits (depending on experience)
About the Role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Production Supervisor will have full responsibility for a modern manufacturing facility and will:
" Lead a team of 20-30 people- you will be a natural leader capable of engaging with your team and inspiring 'best practice' through their service delivery.
" Drive KPI performance ensuring both the individual and team are working towards their goals effectively and looking at improving productivity and customer service levels, whilst reducing waste and being an ambassador for Health & Safety.
" Be a hands-on people orientated supervisor capable of influencing change and planning for succession working closely with your team, understanding their capabilities and enhancing their abilities through effective leadership.
" Be focused on Lean manufacturing, implementing CI tools and techniques to improve processes and overall factory performance.
About the Person:
The ideal Production Supervisor will have proven management experience gained in a high profile manufacturing and engineering environment, in addition to the following:
" Ideally have multi-process experience including fabrication, assembly, plastics and electronics
" Leading People and Change - Strong leader capable of driving performance and changing mind-sets.
" An educational background in Mechanical/Electrical engineering would be advantageous to understand their varying product range.
" Have proven demonstrable experience as Production Supervisor, Shift Manager or Team Leader
