Quality Systems Engineer - (TS/IATF16949; ISO14001; ISO18001)
Location: West Midlands
Salary: c £37000
Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Systems Engineer is an integral cross functional member of the Plant Quality team. This team is responsible for all activities from quoting new business to successfully sustained full volume production.
Your role will be to coordinate the groups internal audit schedule to maintain all aspects of business operating systems incorporating IATF16949, OHSAS18001 (ISO45001) & ISO14001 as part of the integrated management system relating to all Documentation and Procedures
o Responsible for overall coordination of the Groups internal audit schedule
o Undertake internal audits across all production facilities and work with sites to develop robust action plans as a result of audit findings
o Develop new systems and processes required to maintain and continually improve business operating systems across all group facilities
o Assist in problem solving, implementation of corrective and preventative actions, and continuous improvement plans
o To support external audits (Certification Body, Customer .)
o Update and issue of documents with BOS to include supporting all areas of the business in the creation of well-constructed and formatted procedures.
o Support the compilation of data for internal quality reporting purposes relating audit and other Quality metrics
The Quality Systems Engineer will be HNC qualified or equivalent in an engineering discipline with substantial knowledge and experience of implementing and working to Quality Management Systems including:
o Qualified Internal Auditor, ideally Lead audit trained
o Knowledge of Business Operating Systems and Change Management procedures.
o Background in high volume manufacturing, preferably gained within the automotive industry.
o Knowledge of core ISO systems : TS16949/ ISO14001/ ISO 18001
