As a maintenance engineer your role will be to contribute to the preventative and corrective maintenance of the plant, ensuring items and equipment are at all times legally compliant, safe and operational
Maintenance Technician , Multi Skilled
Location: West Midlands;
Salary: Overall package of up to £50,000 available.
Main duties and responsibilities:
O Undertake preventative and corrective maintenance routines. This includes hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical, electrical and chemical systems.
O Installation of new equipment
O Reactive maintenance, fault finding
Knowledge and experience required:
O Ideally, you will have worked in a face passed automotive manufacturing plant, working under pressure.
O A time served apprenticeship, ideally with a craft or technical qualification to level 3, HNC or equivalent.
O 18th edition certificate
O Previous working experience with PLC controls – preferably Siemens S7
O Fanuc Robot controllers would be extremely advantageous
O Fabrication and welding experience in Mig/Tig/Arc would also be considered advantageous
Working a continental shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 days off) this is an excellent opportunity for a maintenance engineer to be part of an expending business with modern high quality machines from the ground up. In return our client is offering a fantastic salary, plus additional shift allowance and overtime available, creating a total package of up to £50,000 per annum.
