A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Analyst with manufacturing experience to join an international group investing heavily in their plant and people from their factory in Yorkshire.

Position: Supply Chain Analyst

Salary: Competitive + Benefits

Location: Commutable from Wakefield, Dewsbury, Leeds, Bradford and Huddersfield.

About the Role

The Supply Chain Analyst will work as part of the supply chain team creating production plans and supplier schedules, managing constraints, with a focus on providing exemplary customer service as well as the following:

o Import customer requirements in an accurate & timely manner

o Manage supplier scheduling in line with company policies for stock-holding & customer schedules, ensure unexpected shortfalls are identified and followed up

o Effectively communicate with the Customer & Supply base, ensuring they are kept fully informed as to the status of ongoing requirements, including material status during engineering change

o Prepare production & capacity plans, ensuring product is manufactured and delivered in line with Customer requirements, whilst maintaining pre-defined levels of inventory.

o Participate in maintaining stock accuracy

o Monitor and maintain stillage levels, liaising with Customers to expedite deliveries if required

About the Person

To succeed in this role you are likely to be already working as a Supply Chain Analyst within a manufacturing or automotive supply chain environment.

o Experience of operating in a MRP/ ERP systems

o Must have an attention to detail with a high level of accuracy

o Articulate with good verbal and written communication skills

o Ability to remain analytical and make sound business decisions in a high pressure, fast moving environment

o Exceptional customer focus

o High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, Internet & Email

o Previous roles could include Supply Chain Analyst, Logistics Analyst, Production Planner or Demand Planner.
