Due to internal promotion this established manufacturing firm with a global presence are seeking an MP&L Manager to lead a small team and assist with the implementation of SAP ERP systems.
Material & Production Planning Manager – SAP ERP – High volume manufacturing
Location: West Yorkshire (commutable from Dewsbury, Wakefield, Bradford, Halifax and Leeds areas)

About the Role:
Reporting into the Operations Manager, as Materials & Planning Manager you will participate in the strategic and operational development of the site's planning process, including:
o Ensure customers orders are received in full and on time
o Forecast, plan and facilitate on-time materials to the production line.
o Resolve supplier concerns and evaluate supplier performance in conjunction with the procurement
o Implement and drive the weekly Master Production Schedule to ensure a levelled production plan and protect production lines from customer's demand variations.
o Deliver consistent performance through a team of direct reports including Material & Production Planning, Logistics & Data Analysts.
About the Person:
You will already have significant supervisory experience within Material Control, Production Planning and Logistics function within a fast paced high volume manufacturing environment
o Display exemplary customer-focused communicative skills and the ability to engage with senior stakeholders in the business and the wider supply chain function
o Sound knowledge of supply chain processes and their interdependencies
o Supervisory or management experience leading, coaching and developing a multi disciplined team
o Expert IT systems knowledge - SAP ERP experience is essential as the company is currently in the process of SAP implementation.
o Previous experience as a Production Planning Manager, MP&L Manager, Supply Chain Manager, Senior Planner or Production Control Manager would be ideal for this position
