Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
Salary: Up to £39000 p.a.
Objective (Maintenance Engineer):
Working within a high volume automated assembly cells you will be responsible for both breakdown and preventative maintenance and fault finding on welding robots, automated material handling/ conveyors, PLCs, electrical control systems, hydraulics and pneumatics
Duties (Maintenance Engineer):
o Provide breakdown support to manufacturing areas of the business.
o Carry out improvements and preventative maintenance on assembly equipment / automated production lines
o Carry out fault finding activities on the following areas: Robotics, PLC, HMI, Hydraulics and Pneumatics
o TPM/ PPM on automated production facilities
o Adhere to strict working practices
o Improvements to Assembly Equipment - Kaizen activity
Applications are sought from Multi skilled Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Technicians or Service Engineers with experience gained in high volume automated manufacturing, ideally automotive related
o Knowledge of robotics welding, hydraulic presses, laser welding and associated equipment and machines
o Experience of electrical control systems, PLC and HMI fault finding ( Siemens S7 desirable )
o Sound knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, clamping systems, mechanical handling, automated material handling
o PM and TPM experience
o IT literate
