Maintenance Technician Requried
MaintenancenTechnician required for an established company in the automotive sector.
As part of the maintenance team you will be responable for prevenatative and breakdown maintenance of all plant and machinery

Location - Coventry
Salary - £39,000
Duties
Preventative & breakdown maintenance of all plant and machinery on site - broad range of kit from very modern to very old.
Environment : Large site, spread over several factory units.
Equiptment:
Hydraulic presses ( >200T) for pressing sintered components
Machine tools - grinding, turning and some milling - standard machines but with modifications made for tooling
Furnaces - induction
Conveyors , drives, motors, gearboxes
Some pneumatics
Experiences required:
Mechanical bias multi skilled Maintenance Tech, 80:30 bias. Apprentice trained ideally
Suit a good mechanical fitter or machine tool fitter with basis electrical skills
Skills required:
Good knowledge of hydraulics, able to read drawing and fix complex hydraulic problems essential
Experience of machine tools ideally but open to good mechanical machine knowledge
Knowledge of induction furnaces useful, material handling and conveyors plus associated motors, drives, gearboxes etc
Electrical skills basic experience of 3 phase & PLCs . able to change a motor for example
Must be willing to work in dirty environment
Shifts are 5 days 3 shift rotation
Am Shift
Monday – Thursday 06:00 - 14:00 ( 20 minute lunch break)
Friday 06:00 – 12:00 ( 10 minute break) (Work 36.5)
Pm Shift
Monday – Thursday 14:00 - 22:00 (20 minute lunch break)
Friday 12:00 – 18:00 ( 10 minute break) (Work 36.5)
Nightshift
Monday – Thursday 22:00 - 06:00 (20 minute lunch break)
Friday 18:00 – 00:00 ( 10 minute break) (Work 36.5)
